We're sitting here, on the 23rd floor of the "Beograd" skyscraper and watching what's happening! Most of all in the sky!
While we were sleeping, under darkness, mute, some clouds snuck in again, and here they are again above our nice city.
We'll likely see what they want later today.
It makes no sense for rain to fall only to clean the cars or windows of lazy people. There ar emuch more serious reasons for it not to fall. The more blue sky and sun, our city is shiny and white...Whoever has left from afar towards BEO-GRAD will easily recognize the city and find it.
We hear that after fifteen years of preparations a group of Belgrade idlers set out to finally conquer the highest point in Belgrade--Avala.*
And if the weather turns on them, well then, they'll attempt it again on the next nice day.
Across from the fairgrounds, on the Sava flows a long caravan of "Slepova". Nadajmo se da ne prevoze vodu.
This morning continues to be grey and foggy. Final results are still uncertain. We feel bad for the meteorologists, especially if they get paid only for fulfilled predictions, tough life.
This summer the real money is in umbrellas.
However, we at least aren't in any rush.
We'll sit and wait and see, what will happen. And until we find out what will happen, well, we can't start anything more serious.
*BEO GRAD emphazises the etymological roots--"white" and "city" of Beograd.
*Avala is a mountain overlooking Belgrade in the south-eastern part of the city
