We're broadcasting to you this morning from our lighthouse, on the corner of Marsala Tito and Marsarokve streets, from the height of floor number 23 of the "Belgrade" skyscraper. We don't know what altitude technically counts as Belgrade, but you can surely sat that we originate from Belgrade, since the ground floor of our building is in the city.
This morning Belgrade also looks wuite good. No clouds or smoke, clean, and freshly washed up.
Even the railway station is quiet and peaceful, and maybe even a little sad because it is being moved from the centre all the way to Prokop*
A gazelle spread her legs at the foamy Sava, and it would be nice if this holiday Saturday we all didn't head directly to the river, because in that case she'll rise at least another centimetre.
On a roof below us, in large letters someone has written 'DARKO'. Probably to make him more easily located by guests approaching from overhead.
We're been searching the nice roofs of Belgrade for at least one chimney sweep, but they are not to be found. Either it's not the right season, or they don't work Saturdays. Good for them, they should rest! At least Saturdays and Sundays they should be able to work on their own happiness.
Belgrade, wake up; the beautiful, fair sky awaits you.
*Prokop is another area of Belgrade.
